Here you’ll see our set up for a recent video shoot in the office of Psi Pi Group and The Simple Idea

The client needed some videos up online for his website, and had a little time available.. so Kodak Zi8 + Lavelier Mic was the right way forward.

Manfrotto auto-poles mean we can put the background paper up wherever we want and some soft relector bulbs added to the feel.

We wanted the shoot not over bright, but warm and natural

It’s been an amazing release for Apple and fans of the iPhone.

When Apple then released iMovie as an app for a cheap price,
they really lowered the bar of entry to video online.

We’ve seen people in 5-10 minutes, be able to

1. Record images – photos and video
2. Edit the images into a video
3. Add music
4. Add titles
5. Export the video
6. Share – Email / Web – including upload to facebook

We saw this used really well on a charity project, where hundreds of people were doing this live during a global event.
